As we go through life, most Christians find themselves thinking only about their own concerns and happiness. They don’t think about the people who cross their path. Even worse is the fact that some believers never consider the needs of brothers and sisters who attend the same church. The apostle Paul instructed: “Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:3-4 NIV). This topic helps us understand that we are truly our brother’s keeper, and that this responsibility extends to every fellow human being upon whom we may have an influence.
