Sometimes we need to examine ourselves in regard to what the Bible calls “the little foxes that spoil the vines” (Song of Solomon 2:15). If we wink at small sins, we can become insensitive to greater ones. Job asked, “Does He not see my ways, and count all my steps? If I have walked with falsehood, or if my foot has hastened to deceit, let me be weighed on honest scales, that God may know my integrity” (Job 31:4-6).
