Lets’ examine the commonly held belief that happiness can be found in recreation, entertainment, and material possessions. Undoubtedly, these things satisfy for a while, but in the long run, they leave us feeling unfulfilled and disappointed. In the book of Ecclesiastes, King Solomon records how he sought happiness by pursuing every pleasure known to man. Afterwards, he concluded that everything he tried was meaningless. Lasting happiness was as difficult to capture as the wind!
