In marriage, irreconcilable differences are the result of being stubborn, hard hearted, and unwilling to change. It’s not the amount of love in a relationship that determines its success or failure. It’s how serious both people take the vows they made before God. The reason we must keep the vows we make is because God keeps His vows, and He wants us to be like Him. In 1 John 1:9, God made a vow to forgive us, when we confess our sins to Him.
