Perhaps the best thing about winter is that, without it, there could be no spring, just as, without death, there could be no resurrection. Jesus had to go into the grave to rise in newness of life. He broke through the cold blanket of death, pushed Himself up through the earth and broke out into the realm of forever. This He did to destroy spiritual winter and make a pathway for us to follow, so that we, too, can be resurrected. 

Quizas la mejor cosa del invierno sea que sin la muerte, no puede haber resurrección.  Jesús tuvo que irse al sepulcro para elevarse en la novedad de la vida. Como el Adán Segundo, el hombre, Jesús Cristo restauró la vida espitituosa que Adán había perdido por medio del pecado. Jesús, siendo Dios manifestado en la carne, rompió el manto frío de la muerte,  se impulsó a través de la tierra y estalló en el reino para siempre. Él hizo esto para destuír el invierno espiritual y para hacernos un camino que nos guíe a nostotros también a la resurrección.
