Creating a Counter-cultural Community

In his book The Connecting Church, Randy Frazee calls America “the loneliest nation on earth.”  This is because our modern culture has pushed most people into a fixation on individualism, isolationism, and consumerism. Since each of these “isms” is contrary to the principles of church life described in the New Testament, we must work aggressively at countering them and building a community of connected and consecrated saints, who see themselves as members of one another.”
