This Bible study, by Anne Ney, is written for the instruction of children, age 7 through 12. It can be taught parent-to-child, within a facilitated small group, or in a classroom. The text can be read aloud word for word, as it is written in a conversational style. Each lesson is followed by an optional Lesson Review. Scripture References are taken from the King James Version of the Bible.
Included are several object lessons, which are short talks that utilize objects to illustrate key points. These object lessons will enhance the learning experience, make the lessons fun, and more importantly, make them memorable. Researchers have found that 65% of a message can be retained after 3 days when visual aids are used, and only 10% is usually retained without visual aids.
