4 week children's topic series by Anne Ney
Living for God is like learning how to ride a bicycle. When we are very little, our parents make all of our decisions for us. They are like training wheels, keeping us steady as we grow. But, when we become old enough to learn God’s laws and obey Him, He is our best friend, teaching us how to ride without the training wheels, while holding us up, to keep us from wobbling, making foolish choices, and falling into sin. We might think that, once we have learned how to make our own decisions, we can ride anywhere and be safe, but God doesn’t want us to take off on our own. He wants to set our course and steer – taking us where He knows we ought to go. Includes the 4 part story, “Marvin Pace and the Bike Race,” ice breakers, Scripture references, story notes, discussion questions, and extended time activities. Spiral bound.
