Just as people enjoy talking over a cup of coffee or tea, many people experience greater intimacy in prayer when they talk to God, as if they are having a coffee break with Him. In Matthew Chapter six, Jesus encouraged us to avoid lofty, wordy, repetitious prayers, and pray simple heart-felt prayers. Once we approach our times of prayer as heart-to-heart conversations with God, they will become very natural - like two friends chatting. Time will go by quickly, and we will look forward to our next time of prayer with great anticipation. Running time approx. 11 min.
