The Apostle Paul referred to himself as an ambassador. Ambassadors are citizens of their home country, but they often live in a foreign country. Their job is to ensure good communications and relations between the two nations. Like an ambassador, it is the job of every believer to connect with God about mankind, and with mankind, about God. The kind of prayer in which we connect with God and then reach the world, is often called “intercession."
