The first commandment forbids us from worshipping anyone or anything other than the God. Commandment one: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3). So, what does the Bible say about other gods? It says that we shouldn’t have them. Do you have any? In a society that worships almost anything from people to pleasure, to wealth, to sex, to you name it, it is entirely possible that you have put something before God.
