Whatever people do, if they are dedicated to it, they will work as hard and as long as it takes to get something done. While it can be a good thing to be dedicated to organizations, projects, or sports, none of those things can save your soul. More than anything, we need to be dedicated to God. The Bible says, in Romans 12:1, “…dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice - the kind He will accept. When you think of what He has done for you, is this too much to ask” (NLT)? This topic uses a short story to relate dedication on a child’s level.
