Most people consider the word “church” as referring to a building in which they worship. But, the Greek word translated as church is ekklésia, meaning, the assembly of the called out ones - called out of a faithless existence in the world to a loving relationship with God, as His children. When you are born into God’s family, the Church, you become part of the universal body of believers. But, remember: you can’t fulfill your role as in this body unless you choose to be committed to a group that does what family does: love one another.
