Sin brought death into the world, but God still loved humanity so much that He desired to rescued all of us from the consequence of sin. However, God’s perfect justice required that the penalty for sin be paid - the sinner must die. But, God’s love for us compelled Him to have a plan for our salvation. Someone would take our place and die for us; that someone couldn’t be a sinner because such a death would only pay for the sinner’s own wrongdoing. Since there was no one good enough, God Himself came in flesh to make the supreme sacrifice.
