Galatians 5:22-23 lists nine fruit of the Spirit: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As wonderful as these virtues are, they only come from having a LIVING UNION with Almighty God, by which we constantly surrender our life to the influence and control of the Spirit. Peace is impossible without a “living relationship” with Him. As Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, whose thoughts are fixed on you!” - NLT
