One of the main reasons believers don’t do ministry work in their community is that they have a “love problem.” Love is essential to Christianity, because “God is love” (1John 4:8). Love also is the greatest virtue, even greater than faith. In 1 Corinthians 13: 1-3, the apostle Paul wrote, “If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but a noisy gong. If I speak God's Word with power, revealing all His mysteries and making everything plain as day; and have faith enough to move huge mountains - if I lack love, I am nothing. If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, if I have no love, I gain nothing.”
