When the Pharisees heard Jesus say, “Before Abraham was, I AM,” they were even more upset than before. They knew He was claiming to be more than just a holy man. Jesus was not only saying, “I existed before Abraham.” He was saying: ”I AM God.” “I AM” is a wonderful name. It means: I AM now and have always existed. I AM the only God – the great Creator of all things. It means: I AM with you now and always will be. I came to earth as the God-man, Jesus Christ, to show you how much I love you. I AM the One who saves you from your sins and sets you free so that you can live a good life and someday, live with Me, forever, in Heaven. Includes: icebreaker, Scripture references, discussion questions, and a fun activity.
